Will they swing like we expected? Kind of. Both guys have a huge amount of respect for one anothers striking, so both hung back. Schaub definitely landed the better of the blows early, opening up Mitrione with a big right hand. They both went back to being cautious, before Brendan landed a good combo and followed up with a good takedown. Matt worked to a hip escape and looked to be getting back to his feet, but 'The Hybrid' locked in a D'Arce choke in the mean time. At first Mitrione signalled to the ref he was ok, but Brendan corrected his angles and put Mitrione to sleep. Out cold, Dan Mirgliotta stepped in and it was all over.
