Rashad Evans. "as real as it gets"

UFC Lightheavyweight champion.
TUF standout.
Hightlight reel knockout artist.
Buisness man.
Open personality.
Smooth!
The list goes on when speaking of Suga Rashad Evans, the upmost beneficial term would be Mentor!
MmaAus Co-Founder recently had dinner with the former champ (Thanks to the team at Extreme MMA Ringwood)
And gained priceless knowledge along with an experience that will last a life time, recording devices not present here especially when questions about Dana White, UFC, Fighter pay and the Diaz brothers are being thrown around.
Evans who is currently on the final days of his tour downunder in conjuction with JACO clothing one of his sponsors (Personal Brand), and Eveythingmma.com.au  is still looking for the Mick Dundee Australia he an majority of Americans have portrayed in mind, Kangaroos, outback 99% of land, and everyone to draw out an say "this is a knife", even going as far to order Fish n chips from a pub (A huge No no which he was warned after by Mma Aus).
What he has found is a real love for Koalas, the social beverages, the scenery, NRL over AFL (somehow) and Melbourne reigns supreme over Perth.
(Stating he was so lost in the cycle of Perth he became emotionally involved in political issues seen on the daily news, "Oh they really need to fix that come election time")

Diving into the MMA world, Suga sees what many others don't see within the UFC and sports entertainment that selling the fight is what it's all about for the Hierarchy in Las Vegas, the main ingredient in feeding the growth of UFC/MMA.
Relating to his close freind Chael Sonnen, (hard to beleieve i agree) as the perfect example on how he lost to Anderson Silva and within 12 months sold himself perfectly into becoming No.1 Contender in the LHW Division and coach on TUF 17.
Selling the fight is as far as the topic of 'Fighter Pay' went, when asked Suga stood up looked around and handed out a smile'n'grin much the same as when he KO Sean Salmon with a head kick. His expressions enough said!

Rashad was quick to note that  MMA in Australia is unique! with enormous potential, grappling and striking the benefits but failure to have a strong wrestling background is where the cage work needs to be done in order to take the next step of adding the list of Aussie matching it with the worlds elite.

Whatever your conception of Rashad is, it's guarenteed 99% of you have it right on the money he is 'as real as it gets' the man you see inside the cage is the man you get at the dinner table! Excluding the jabs!
