Our very own Aussie, Anthony 'Hippo' Perosh, returned after his disappointing knockout loss to Ryan Jimmo, against world champion BJJ artist Vinny Magalhaes. Hippo, who is a black belt in BJJ as well, didn't need any of those skills in this one. Both guys walked straight at each other and Hippo went BANG! Magalhaes went down pulling Anthony into his guard, from there Perosh unleashed, destroying Vinny with constant right hands, Magalhaes went limp, Mario Yamasaki stepped in and we ERUPTED! 0:14 the official time in the first round. This win guarantees a legend of Australian MMA will get another run in the worlds premier organisation. Congrats Hippo from everyone here at MMAAus!
