AFC 6 Preview Corey Nelson vs Walber 'Tete' De Barros

Brace Welterweight Champion, Nitro Welterweight Champion, Corey 'Major' Nelson is back and on the hunt for yet another title. Standing in his way is Brazilian Walber 'Tete'. Walber, who now fights out of Extreme MMA in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, will be as eager as any to get in the ring after he was given a free pass through AFC 5 due to Zein Saliba not making weight and being disqualified. Walber's current record stands at 6-4, with 5 of his 6 victories coming via decision. The BJJ black belt will no doubt be looking to get 'Major' straight to the ground and into his world. Sydney fighter Nelson is one of the most feared welterweights in Australia and he won't be too displeased in seeing the fight go to to the mat either. He's extremely well rounded and his ground control will be hard for Walber to combat, watch out for the vicious ground and pound once Corey moves to side control. 'Major' Nelson should get the W here
